GALWAY TO SKATE THROUGH THE WINTER WITH 7UP CHRISTMAS ON ICE
This winter, Galway will welcome the arrival of a custom built ice rink in the city centre. Formerly known as ‘Galway Bay on Ice’, this year the skating event is partnering with the very successful 7UP Christmas on Ice brand and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
The event will run from Saturday the 28th of November to Sunday the 10th of January and promises festive fun for all the family. Exciting features include a 600msq ice rink and ice cafe, plus themed events like school skate, decks on ice, skate date, ice dancing displays and skating Santa!
Now celebrating its seventh year, 7Up Christmas on Ice is Ireland’s longest running and most successful family ice-skating event, with over 200,000 visitors to the RDS, Liffey Valley and Letterkenny and even more nationwide venues planned for next year. With spectacular covered ice rinks, striking design and safety precautions there is something for everyone to enjoy - from families and schoolchildren to teenagers and beyond.
