Lights, camera action! Unleash your team’s creativity and discover some hidden acting talent while you’re at it. In this fun and highly-interactive program, teams will learn about the process of making a 1 minute TV advert from scratch, including camera shots and angles, creating storyboards and selecting roles and scripts. Our team building experts will supply all the equipment necessary to produce professional looking results: props, lighting, sound system, two cameramen with HD cameras and editors on hand to edit in real time. Choose to focus either on your company’s products and services or have some fun with imagined ones! Our team building experts will be on site to offer help and assistance, provide an MC for briefing and organize any competition you can dream up. Teams and Dragons are selected with team building in mind. We then set the teams an entrepreneurial challenge sure to get their imaginations going. We supply each team with materials to construct or demonstrate their product/service. This stage of the event is often a giddy one, once teams have decided what they will be presenting they will have the opportunity to barter their materials as each team will be supplied with different materials. They then must enter the Dragons Den (a separate room set up to mimic the atmosphere of the original den, with custom designed elements to separate your den experience from anyone else's) to seek investment from the Dragons.... Which always proves to be an entertaining event whether the Dragons decide that they are are in or out, but prize are up for grabs for successful teams! The event will be hosted by one of our entertaining and professional MC's who will keep everyone on their toe's and most likely in stitches with their witty an insightful commentary through out the event. The event will also be fully documented by one of our professional production crew.

Working with you we divide your group into well suited teams and select our corporate directors to whom the teams will have to impress as they complete the tasks they are set and when they enter the board room you can be sure of one thing, one team will be going home! while the other will be treated to some very nice prizes and of course bragging rights till the next event! Have you got what it takes to impress the judges? This event is always a winner no matter who actually wins and while it promotes team building it also become a source of entertainment long after the event itself is over. The Grooveyard treasure hunts are second to none. We come in several days before your event and custom design the hunt using the history, architecture and setting of your town or city. Most hunts take place in your city/town and surrounding areas. Treasure hunts are probably the best form of entertaining team building. You will be challenged to solve complex problems, overcome obstacles, carefully utilize your limited resources and rely upon your teammates for expertise, support and problem solving. You must work fast under pressure as the clock is ticking. Patience, communication and quick thinking will win the day for your team.

Let the Louis Hamilton in you come racing out at these radio controlled car events. These events work well on either indoor or outdoor circuits. Once your colleagues have grasped the hand coordination required to control these cars under race conditions, these races quickly become highly competitive and team work usually goes out the window and the fun begins. It’s been known to happen however, that this activity does actually help with team building as some competitors have been known to “gang-up” on their racing colleagues.

The games begin with a series of practice and qualifying rounds to determine pole and grid positions for the race. This is followed by the race itself. The Radio Controlled Grand Prix is an activity that is great fun for all and a great team building event.

Racers have the option to compete as an individual competitor or form a two person tactical team swopping drivers every few laps.

The Grooveyard Drumming Workshops are an excellent team building option for your company. These workshops are one of the most impacting and energizing team building sessions available. Within no time our drum instructors will have everyone learning the basic skills and rhythms needed to build your own drum corps ready for the big finale at the end of the session. “Nice to see you, to see you nice!” The famous Generation Game brings loads of laughs and lots of fun to our services with the occasional messy tasks to be completed by teams. Our experts will demonstrate how to do something very simple like using a potter’s wheel, makeup artistry, wallpapering or icing and decorating a cake.

Your team has to watch carefully then reproduce as best as possible what they saw the expert do in less time than it took the expert to complete.

This activity brings your colleagues together to function as a team while at the same time competing against their fellow colleagues. This event has proved very popular and although good ole Brucey can’t be there in person, it is still one of our most popular team building activities. “Didn’t they do well?”

Fancy trying your hand at some circus skills like juggling, hula hooping, plate spinning, balancing objects on your head, nose, chin and hand, stilt walking and unicycling? These activities can be adopted for team cooperation or as a competition between teams. The Grooveyard Clowning Around Workshop equips you and your colleagues with the basic circus skills required to put on a short circus performance at the end of the day. This workshop is both educational and lots of fun.

We have an array of tried and tested pottery activities which optimise the strengths of the team “planners”, “leaders” and “players”.  For the “throw a pot to the clock” discover which team members will be over zealous at the wheel and risk a wobbly end result and who will be cautious?
Another creative game, which produces surprise results is the where everyone designs a mug for a “secret” colleague. Bonding and banter is a natural consequence as the designs emerge.
The big mosaic is another successful catalyst for differentiating “team” characteristics. When individuals are finished their allocated ceramic tile, all the tiles are arranged in a mosaic to reveal the final picture. The benefit of teambuilding through pottery is that all the pottery is professionally glazed and fired so that everyone will have a permanent souvenir of their day out.
